My first vote was in the first Referendum on Europe, in 1975. Since then I have helped bring up my now grown up children, especially since dropping out of the City in the late 1990s. I have been, and am, still involved in several local community groups and charities since moving to Sydenham in 1999. As a campaigner my other main interests are in housing and intergenerational inequality. I maintain contact with friends and family of all shades of opinion, but am not one to join a political party, even though I respect their role in civic life. I’m also a keen gardener, runner and cyclist.
